The Hvetshran count six seasons in a year instead of, like human species usually does, four seasons. These six seasons naturally take about two months each and are read from the stages in the animal and especially the plant life.

Six seasonsEdit

Depiction of the summer.

  • Early spring
  • Late spring / spring
  • Summer / high summer
  • Early fall / late summer
  • Late fall / fall
  • Winter

Hvetshran children, since exact days are not counted, are usually identified with the season they are born in.
