Hvetshran Wiki

Weaponry used by the Hvetshran species consists on one hand of the physical advantages they have in battle and the weapon that is their body, but on the other hand the tools they create and have created as aid in both hunt and warfare.

Anatomic advantage[]

Compared to humans, a Hvetshran's anatomy gives him or her an advantage in battle: their body provides them natural weapons already.

The most visible of these features is their tail, which has a pointed end that can move on its own and be used as a blade, giving the Hvetshran a wider range in the back. Apart from the sharp arrowhead-shaped end, the tail also has a row of small spikes on top of it, which are a continuance of the ones on the Hvetshran's back. This will on one hand prevent attacks from the back side, but on the other hand also allow a minimum possibility for backwards attack.

Apart from their tail and spikes, Hvetshran also have long and strong nails. Even though these still allow for dexterity and rather minute movement similar to a human's, hvetshranologists regularly describe them as claws. This is due to the purpose they serve, of hunting and fighting, as well as making markings. In a like manner, their longer teeth are called fangs because of the species' fairly carnivorous diet.

One of the reasons Hvetshran use mostly their Hvetshran form when going to hunt or battle, is not just because their usually dark scaled skin gives them a bit of a camouflage. Apart from jumping in the eye less, the scaled structure is thicker and thus tougher to penetrate. This will prevent them from being wounded as easily in the case their opponent has natural weapons such as fangs or claws too.
